Responsible Gambling

Play for Entertainment

Gambling is a form of entertainment, not a way to earn money or recover a debt. The only sensible stake is one you can afford to lose completely without it affecting your rent, bills, food or family.

Over a long enough run the house holds the edge in every game on this site. Treat any win as a pleasant outcome rather than an expected one.

Who Can Play

You must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to gamble where you live. Accounts are personal. Do not let anyone else use yours, and keep your login details away from children and anyone under 18.

Set Your Limits Before You Start

  • Decide what you are willing to lose before you deposit, and stop when you reach it.
  • Set a time limit as well as a money limit. Long sessions make poor decisions easier.
  • Never raise your stake to win back a loss. Chasing is the single most common way a manageable session turns into a damaging one.
  • Do not gamble to escape stress, boredom or low mood.
  • Do not gamble while drinking or while tired.
  • Keep gambling money separate from money you have borrowed. Never play with credit.

Warning Signs

Problem gambling develops gradually, and the signs are easier to spot in hindsight. Any of the following is worth taking seriously:

  • Spending more time or money than you intended, repeatedly.
  • Borrowing money, selling possessions or missing payments in order to play.
  • Hiding how much you play, or lying about it to people close to you.
  • Feeling restless or irritable when you try to cut down.
  • Gambling to win back what you have lost.
  • Letting work, study, sleep or relationships slide because of play.

Getting Help

If any of the above sounds familiar, stop playing and talk to someone. Speaking to a qualified counsellor or doctor is the most direct route, and support groups such as Gamblers Anonymous run free meetings in many countries.

You can also contact 96ACE support to ask what controls are available on your account. Reach the team through live chat, WhatsApp, WeChat, Telegram, Skype or email, in English or Bahasa Melayu, at any hour.

Telling family or a close friend what is happening is uncomfortable, and it is also the step that most often makes the difference.

Keeping Minors Away From Gambling

Nobody under 18 may hold an account or play here. If children share your device, lock your account when you are not using it, do not save your password in a shared browser, and consider filtering software that blocks gambling sites on devices they use.
